Wednesday AM Update

Just a quick note:
The cavalry is arriving.
We still don't have power in most of the town, but we have it at the command post/EOC and a block or two around us.
Internet is now established at Town Hall and EOC.
We still don't have water (I really need a shower, as do Ian and Brent).
A video showing the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at the Black Mountain Fire Department. People are working together to manage the ongoing disaster response.
YES, WE WILL HAVE INFORMATION ON HOW YOU CAN HELP
We have a small team offsite in VA helping us here organize a way for you to help Black Mountain rebuild.
We are also in touch with some of the largest community foundations in the South, to ensure our efforts in collecting funding are proper, vetted, and utilized effectively.
We know how much every person on this thread wants to do something. You all know me, and you know how strongly I'm driven to do something, so I can relate to your feelings right now.
As the saying goes: don't just do something, just stand there.
We will have more for you in the next 24-48 hours, so we can do this right.
